Images: At Least 20 Died in the Moscow Subway Explosion [Updated]

At least 26 people died and dozens more were injured in the Moscow subway explosion Monday morning.

According to the initial reports, the bomb went off in the subway car after the train reached Lubyanka station. 15 people in the car and 11 more at the station outside of the train were killed and many more were injured. Initial reports confirm the suicide attack.

Lubyanka is one of the busiest subway stations in Moscow. Many offices, stores and government buildings, including the KGB building, are located near this subway station. The first bomb went off at 8AM, during morning rush-hour.

After the Explosion

First images of the station after the explosion were broadcasted on Russian TV.

Some of the wounded were evacuated by air.
