DHL Suspends Shipping To Russia

DHL, one of the top companies shipping to Russia from the US and Europe, banned non-letter shipment to this country, sighting recent changes in customs regulations and clearance delays.

In the message published on its website, DHL promises to resolve current delays as quickly as possible. Do we think it will be able to resolve them? Not really.

Dear DHL, we hope you read this blog, because we will give you a one-word explanation of all the clearance delays and overall problems with shipping to Russia. Here it goes: corruption. The more difficult it is to extract shipments from the customs, the more people are willing to pay to get them.

Please stand by for further updates on shipping issues to Russia. Things are probably going to get much worse before (and if) they get better...

is there any way to send personal shipment to russia. why we want to go 150 years back. the day when letters used to reach in 2 months or may be more. it directly effects various business ties.
i sent my parcel to one of my friend but unable to send, it came back due to custom issues. please resolve the issue at the earliest
