This Halloween, The Free Vladimir Putin Costume Is Offered To Foreign Affairs-Conscious Americans

It’s Halloween… a time for everyone to put on their costumes and get outside to enjoy startled and admiring looks from total strangers. But with limited original costume ideas and Hogwarts-high costume prices, it’s hard to find that perfect Halloween attire that will make one a welcome guest to the costume-only parties.

That’s why Russia! magazine is offering a free and spectacularly easy to make Halloween costume of Russia’s president Vladimir V. Putin. “This is a perfect Halloween costume for a modern professional adult or a trendy high school student,” explains Andrew Biliter, contributing editor of Russia!. “The Putin costume can scare anyone who reads the newspapers or watches news broadcasts.”

The Putin’s costume is very easy to make. You will only need a dark suit, printer, internet connection and close-to-nothing memory effort. First you would need to print and cut out a pre-made Vladimir Putin’s face of the magazine’s website and put it on yourself with a single string. And voila – your costume is ready. Then you can master grunting two Russian words – Da (yes) and Net (no) and your character is complete.

“Our ambition is that our readers have fun this Halloween without spending a fortune and get as much attention from their dates as possible,” comments Asya Dubrovskaya, Russia! magazine director of special projects. “We also think that it is time to bring a new character to the Halloween costume portfolio which is being saturated by only US political figures, especially presidents Clinton and Bush.”

A free Vladimir Putin Costume may be downloaded from
Russia! magazine's website.

First Five Readers who email us their photo in the Putin Costume at halloween@readrussia.com, will get a free Russophile Mug
